Your Expertise

If you are a secondary teacher, you will be an expert in your chosen subject. For example, those whose linguistic intelligence is a strength will probably become an English or language teacher in a secondary education setting.
If you are a primary school teacher, your expertise may be subject-related or in the knowledge of how to teach a particular age group. Your interpersonal intelligence may also be particularly strong. Likewise, pre-school teachers tend to be experts in child development. In our experience, pre-school teachers are particularly reflective, and have strong intrapersonal intelligence.

Our Founder's Experience

Having taught at all three phases, our team have needed to develop different intelligences at different times and have enjoyed learning how to become experts in different areas. Our founder, Margaret, has also inspected and taught in special schools and developed expertise in this field.
Since becoming self-employed to become an OFSTED inspector, Margaret has also developed her expertise in running a business and creating websites. ICT has become a major interest for her, and she went from being afraid of using a computer to being hooked on developing her online presence.
This has proven rewarding for Margaret, as her websites have enabled her to travel for work, whether going to India 13 times or running teacher training courses at an Algerian university. Having developed several websites over time, including the one you’re currently reading, she has reached various international clients.

Education or Business We All Need To Work Well With Others

Whether you are in business or a teacher, a headteacher, an inspector, or a teacher trainer, nobody in business or education works alone. Even if you are a sole trader, you must work with others. It’s worth reflecting upon that, which is why we provide a free eBook about working with others. Please fill in the form below to request a free copy.
